If you’re thinking about remodeling your bathroom, you should consider buying a new shower head. A new shower head will work much better than your existing shower head. Over time your current shower head will clog up due to hard minerals in your water supply line. These water minerals will create situations where you may find a film over your skin when you are taking showers. If you have excessive minerals in your water, you may also want to buy a water softening unit. Water softeners are installed in your basement, and can be set up for use in your whole entire house.

Certain filters work better than others, and it is always important to do your homework before you make any commitments. You do not want to buy any filters which have extremely expensive replacement units. Keep in mind that the disposable cost of the cartridges may add up over the lifetime of usage. If you’re going to buy a new hardware for your bathroom, or just your walk in shower, make sure you only buy stainless steel fixtures. Plastic shower heads do not last as long. Also, avoid buying shower heads which have plastic internal components as they are much more prone to leaking over time. Leaking water in your bathroom shower is extremely expensive as you are wasting water. You are also not doing the environment any favors, by wasting our precious natural resources. Most shower heads have a regulated flow because of EPA regulations. You cannot buy a shower head more than 2.5 gallons per minute flow.

If you want increased water pressure, you can install multiple showerheads. This is a great way to mimic the natural forest when you are taking showers. Keep in mind that one of the best ways to lower your stress and blood pressure is by taking lots of showers in the morning and at night. Another advantage of taking multiple showers, is you will be much more mentally relaxed and ready to take on the challenges of the day.
